We are excited to welcome you to the Avon Park Camp for the 2020-2021 season. As a Camp Association, your health and safety are our key concerns as we enter this camp season. Consequently, we are asking all of our residents and guests to review the Health and Safety policies and procedures that have been adopted by the Board of Directors. We will continue to monitor the guidance from the Florida Department of Health and the CDC and make adjustments as necessary.
Here are the key bullet points that are in place at this time.

  1. Our COVID Plan Point of Contact will be Mike Cowles – call 863-453-6831 and leave a message or email michaeldcowles@gmail.com.
  2. All available camp residence facilities will be available for rental this season. (Apartments, dorms and RV Park)
  3. All standard meetings (Friday Night, Bible Study and Prayer Fellowship) will be happening. Social distancing will be adhered to and face coverings will be encouraged.
  4. Dining Facilities will operate during camp meeting. No pot lucks or buffets will be permitted at this time.
  5. No Food will be available in the Fellowship Café during November and December.
  6. Sanitizing and Cleaning procedures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all attendees.
We are currently looking for some willing and able volunteers to assist our housekeeping/maintenance staff on the “Clean TEAM”. The Clean TEAM will provide sanitation support in our meeting areas throughout the season. Please contact our office manager to be added to the list.
